My name is Laura and i live in England. I
have a cat like you and she is called
Jessie. She a black cat so she's kind of
magical in a witchy way; though i think all
cats and animals are enchanting in their own
way.
I looked on your Between Us page on your
website (awesome website!), and read that a
lot of people think Esmeralda looks like
Ritchie. I think she has a face rather like
yours actually, angelic and beautiful.
I'd like to add that i love your music just
like so many other people. Are you going to
do any tours in England anytime soon?
I discovered your music by accident - when
my dad was looking for Deep Purple music on
youtube, it came up in the search
suggestions panel. Since then I have
discovered the band (you and the rest of
Blackmore's night) that make the fantastic
music i have been searching for my whole
life - music that fills me with happiness.
I've got your Secret Voyage album, and am
currently searching for more on eBay (I
agree - eBay is full of great offers). I'm
going to ask for Winter Carols for
Christmas.
Like you I can play a couple of instruments
from the flute family (recorder,
pennywhistle and fife) and also the
keyboard.
I have a friend and I'd like to tell you on
her behalf that your costumes are amazing,
and that I agree.
When you next come to England, I recommend
you visit the New Forest. The atmosphere
there is magical, and I think you'd like the
small village of Burley, which is full of
shops selling fairy things and beautiful
magical gifts and ornaments. There are new
forest ponies roaming free, and also donkeys
which I am fond of.
What do you believe religiously? I am a
pagan. Today is Halloween, which is the
pagan new year, so I'd like to wish you a
happy new year and i hope you, Ritchie and
Esmeralda have had and will have a fantastic
year.

My middle name is Lauren...very close to
your name. Yes, many people think that
Autumn Esmerelda looks like Ritchie! I hear
that a lot, thank you for seeing me in there
too...and for the beautiful compliment... I
just see her as such an individual!
Sometimes I see Ritchie's expressions...but
she is a personality and blessed child of
her own very strong individuality...
Im glad you like the music, and yes we will
be touring the UK! It has been way too long!

the costumes. I have them made and am
currently revamping them a bit. Slight
changes, but the same general energy. I love

I am totally in awe and inspired by the
magic of nature and her power and beauty. I
believe in a higher being. And I believe
that love is the closest you can get to that
highest of powers. I don't know if my belief

and in what I find I feel peace. That peace

My boyfriend, Chris, told me about your
music last year and I have been hooked ever
since. Many of your songs are dear to us as
a couple as well - Thank you! I was crossing
my fingers to find a tour schedule and to
buy tickets and plan a trip to see you for
Christmas for my boyfriend. Unfortunately
for me, it looks like you do not have a 2011
schedule up yet? And it looks like you are
rarely in the states? Then I saw pictures of
your amazingly beautiful little girl!
Congratulations! That would make sense why
you don't have a lot of tour dates up right
now.
I live in Missouri, USA and was wondering
when you think you'll be back in the states
on tour again? I would LOVE to come and see

small and so I'm willing to travel but can't

Our 2011 schedule is up now on our tour

shows in the north east before heading
overseas once again! Since Missouri isn't on

You mention there will

when I look at the Blackmore's website under
Tour info there is nothing about
Connecticut. Do you know the date and venue
in Connecticut you will be playing? I love

Hi Joanie,
I'm sorry to report that although we were
scheduled to play in Connecticut, there was
a conflict with the venue and we wont be
there this time around. Hopefully next time
it will work out... We used to live in
Redding and still have many friends in the
area. Would be nice to play there and see
them all!

Dear Tanya,
So glad you are enjoying the music. We will
be in Russia later this year!
Autumn is an amazing child. She loves music,
is beginning to stand and says a few first
words. I have never seen a happier baby! She
smiles at everything and everyone and let's
us know exactly what she wants by pointing
until we get it right. She is so very funny
and we cherish her....
We had a list of names, both boys and girls
as I wasn't sure if I would be having a boy
or girl. But when teh day came I wanted to
see what name I felt fit her perfectly. For
a while we were torn between Esmerelda
Autumn or the reverse, but my little
strawberry girl just reminded me of my
favorite season. There is a warmth, a glow
to her that I see in the changing color of
the leaves. She has that within. Esmerelda
was chosen as the kind hearted gypsy girl
from the novel The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
If she were to be a boy, we may have named
her Dartanyan - a name reminiscent of one of
the characters in the 3 Musketeers.
