JUNE 2011

Day turned to evening in a brilliant red streamed sky tonight, here on the island. Ritchie, Autumn and I sat outside watching the colors turn more and more brilliant with each passing second, and then begin to fade which made them even more beautiful. The roses are in full bloom and the air smells like the
purest floral scents with every breath. We played our instruments to the birds flying back to their nests for the evening, each singing a song overhead as they hurry on their way home. And then...magic....our ruby throated hummingbird appeared at the feeder I had hanging in hopes of his arrival.
He darted around it, inspected it and then flew away only to return a moment or two later to enjoy his ready made feast.
 It was Autumn's 1st time seeing a humming bird and she kept pointing at it and laughing again and again...What a beautiful world...what a beautiful life....
